Keep The Peace is a facial oil which has been created with one purpose. To restore balance and equilibrium to your skin and to help you wave goodbye to blemishes and breakouts.
Formulated to work in harmony with your skin's natural oil production, it is naturally high in tannins which help control excess oils in the skin. The tannins give the oil a dry feel that absorb quickly without it feeling greasy. It is also non-comedogenic which means it won't clog your pores.
It lightly moisturises and protects the skin whilst plant polyphenols and healing compounds help repair scars as well as prevent their formation when used early after the skin has suffered damage.
Provides Vitamin A, B, C and E to the skin along with anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-fungal properties, making it perfectly suited for oily, combination and breakout-prone skin. With its naturally plant-derived squalene, zinc, calcium, iron, copper, carotenes and protective compounds it is also able to protect against damage from excess sun and weather damage.

Keep The Peace is a light but highly effective facial oil designed to provide relief and peace of mind for anyone who is experiencing oily and breakout-prone skin. We know how upsetting it can be whenever a blemish or breakout appears and many of our customers have seen quick and long-lasting results.
Unlike many mass-produced moisturisers and serums, Keep The Peace is completely free from any harsh chemical preservatives, fragrances, mineral oil (petrochemicals) or other artificial chemical elements. Many of these ingredients can deliver superficial results but over time they can affect your skin by stripping away and disrupting the natural fatty acid lipids in your face which form part of your skin's protective barrier. One of the reasons the skin can become overly oily is that these harsh chemicals actually send a signal to the skin that it is under attack and that it needs to produce more oil to protect it. The overproduction of oil can then cause the skin to become clogged and start to breakout.
Quite simply, our skin is not designed to be exposed to these heavily processed elements in every product that we use, day after day. In the same way that we are all more aware that eating highly processed foods is not good for our health and wellbeing, there is growing understanding that the same principle applies to what we put on our skin.
Ensure your skin is cleansed thoroughly twice a day to prevent blockages and breakouts. We recommend one of our organic soap bars. Minty Fresh (anti-bacterial and the charcoal pulls excess impurities out of the skin) or Rosy Radiance (the pink clay base also pulls impurities out of the skin) are highly beneficial for cleansing of the face and body.
Keep The Peace can be used in place of a moisturiser by combining it with our Botanical Balance calming tonic to create a simple yet indulgent experience for your face. For more information on this, please see below in 'How to Use'.
One other very important element to consider is your diet. We found with our daughter Coraline that what you eat is so important and by eliminating or reducing dairy and gluten intake for example, chronic skin conditions can often reduce or disappear very quickly.

Camellia Seed Oil (Oleifera):
Delivers vitamin A, B, C and E to the skin along with monounsaturated oleic acid. The oil is high in tannins that help control excess oils in the skin. Black Cumin Seed Oil:
Black Cumin Seed oil is antimicrobial, antiviral and antifungal. It is anti-inflammatory and helps calm and balance oily and acne/breakout-prone skin. It also helps speed the healing of scars and cuts. Black Cumin seed oil contains an abundance of nutrients in the the form of vitamins and minerals including zinc, calcium, folacin, iron, copper and carotenes.
Passion Seed Oil:
Rich in Linoleic acid, which is an essential fatty acid and a key building block to produce ceramides. Ceramides help to form a protective barrier for your skin and are one of the skin's main moisturising components to help keep it soft and smooth. As we age, ceramide levels dramatically decrease, especially during winter.
Sesame Seed Oil:
Naturally antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and moisturising, it contains a potent mix of antioxidants, vitamins and healing fractions. It is easily absorbed by the skin, and helps to carry healing properties to all three layers of our skin. High levels of zinc which are fantastic for anyone with oily and acne/breakout-prone skin, and which also help to support the production of collagen.
Golden Jojoba Seed Oil:
Provides a light film that maintains moisture yet allows the skin to breathe, and it shares many of the same properties as sebum, a lipid in our skin, so it is highly compatible and non-comodegonic (doesn't clog pores). It is a highly versatile oil with anti-microbial properties which is also fantastic for oily and acne/breakout-prone skin.

Apply morning and night by massaging 1 pump into cleansed skin using your fingertips. Best applied immediately after your morning shower and before bed onto damp skin. It feels so good that it's easy to get into a routine fast.
For best cleansing results we recommend using one of our Organic Soap Bars.
To enhance and maximise absorption and hydration for your skin, and balance your skin's pH use our 'Botanical Balance calming tonic spray to mist your face first. This really helps to boost moisture levels and brighten your skin.
Top Tip:
To create a natural, luxurious and preservative free 'in hand' moisturiser simply spritz our 'Botanical Balance' calming facial tonic 2-3 times into your hand, add 1 pump of the facial oil and apply to your face and neck. Massage gently and mindfully into your skin to deliver instant happiness.

Please keep the facial oil out of direct sunlight or extreme heat to protect and preserve its beneficial properties.
Allergy Advice:
All of our products are 100% natural but occasionally people may have unknown allergies or sensitivities to oils, waxes or botanicals. Do not use if you are sensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients in this product. We recommend to patch test on a small area of your body before first use (leave on for 24 hours).
Miron glass - with recyclable plastic pump.
Miron glass naturally protects and enhances the beneficial properties within our products and extends their shelf life. It's like an antioxidant glass; what you put in it is enhanced which means it quickly improves and deepens in aroma.
Miron glass is perfect for re-use at home to store a large range of products. It is also easy to recycle.
We have done all that we can to not use any plastic in our packaging but for the Miron glass bottles it is only possible to use a plastic attachment, which in this case is polypropylene. The plastic lid or spray attachment are both reusable and recyclable. This is the only plastic that we use anywhere in our entire range of products.
All boxes and labels are printed using recycled or FSC recyclable paper and card, and eco-toners which are not harmful to the planet.

We have a 28 day policy on our returns once we have dispatched our soaps. We will accept returns on any unused products, providing they are in their original condition and packaging of sale during this period. You will be responsible for paying for any costs to return the goods to us in their original condition.
