Botanical Balance is a gentle, calming and naturally scented tonic which balances, brightens and detoxifies your skin. Can be used as a primer to increase absorption of facial oils, or used on its own and as often as you like throughout the day to refresh, calm and replenish tired, dry and irritated skin. It has remarkable therapeutic properties which help hydrate your skin, tighten pores, and promote healing.

It is made using our own delicate blend of organic botanical flower waters including lavender de Provence and Damask rose to soothe your skin and your senses.

Perfect for all genders, skin types and needs. It is naturally essential oil-free which makes it safe to use on sensitive and rosacea-prone skin.
It is especially beneficial for mature and ageing skin, and for anyone with persistent dry and itchy skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis.

Have you ever struggled to find a toner which not only agrees with your skin but also feels indulgent with a beautiful natural scent? Botanical Balance gently tones, balances and refreshes your skin and is completely natural and organic. We believe that you will love how it makes you and your skin feel. It is formulated using only the gentlest flower waters produced during the distillation of aromatic plants and botanicals, and contains the aromas and therapeutic properties of each individual plant.

Many mass-produced facial toners and tonics contain alcohol, witch hazel, or synthetic preservatives which can damage your skin and leave it feeling tight and dry. Quite simply, our skin is not designed to be exposed to these heavily processed elements day after day. In the same way that we are all more aware that eating highly processed foods is not good for our health and wellbeing, there is growing understanding that the same principle applies to what we put on our skin.

One other very important element to consider is your diet. We found with our daughter, Coraline, that what you eat is so important and by eliminating, or reducing, dairy and gluten intake for example, chronic skin conditions can often reduce or disappear very quickly.

Lavender de Provence Flower Water:

A clear and nourishing liquid component co-produced when we hydro-distil lavender de Provence flowers to make our essential oil. As part of our calming facial tonic, it helps to lock in hydration to freshen up skin cells and give skin a refreshed and smooth look.

When paired with one of our facial oils it can help nourish and revitalise skin. It is slightly acidic (pH5), which is the perfect pH for your skin after cleansing your face and body to allow the beneficial ingredients to penetrate, and is highly beneficial in rebalancing your skin’s microbiome.

Damask Rose Flower Water:

The queen of all flower waters, it has a truly beautiful scent and contains a high percentage of phenolic compounds which have been proven to possess anti-inflammatory properties. It has cooling, calming, refreshing and skin-toning benefits. Rose water can also be beneficial for soothing and helping to refresh and relax dry skin, eczema, rosacea, and countless other sensitive skin issues.

Aloe Vera Leaf Juice:

Aloe vera is a super skin moisturiser and is known for calming and soothing burns. It is perhaps the very best ingredient when it comes to soothing and calming dry skin. It contains significant antioxidant, skin softening, anti-ageing and anti-itching qualities, and its anti-inflammatory benefits are vast.

After cleansing, spritz 2-3 sprays onto your face to prepare skin to more effectively absorb either our SOS Recovery, You Must Be Sisters or Keep The Peace facial oils, or simply use throughout the day to maintain a healthy glow.

Top Tip:

To create a natural, luxurious and preservative free 'in hand' moisturiser simply spritz the hydrating tonic 2-3 times into the palm of your hand and add 1-2 pumps of the facial oil of your choice, and apply to your face and neck. Massage gently into your skin to deliver maximum benefits.

Please keep the tonic out of direct sunlight or extreme heat to protect and preserve its beneficial properties.

Allergy Advice:

All our products are 100% natural but occasionally people may have unknown allergies or sensitivities to oils, waxes or botanicals. Do not use if you are sensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients in this product. We recommend to patch test on a small area of your body before first use (leave on for 24 hours).

Miron glass with misting spray attachment.

Miron glass naturally protects and enhances the beneficial properties within our products and extends their shelf life. It's like an antioxidant glass; what you put in it is enhanced which means it quickly improves and deepens in aroma.

Miron glass is perfect for re-use at home to store a large range of products. It is also easy to recycle.

We have done all that we can to not use any plastic in our packaging but for the Miron glass bottles it is only possible to use a plastic spray attachment, which in this case is polypropylene. The plastic lid or spray attachment are both reusable and recyclable. This is the only plastic that we use anywhere in our entire range of products.

All boxes and labels are printed using recycled or FSC recyclable paper and card, and eco-toners which are not harmful to the planet.

We have a 28 day policy on our returns once we have dispatched our soaps. We will accept returns on any unused products, providing they are in their original condition and packaging of sale during this period. You will be responsible for paying for any costs to return the goods to us in their original condition.
