We pair wild myrica wax, a natural, and ‘true’ wax which has been sustainably gathered in the Andes for thousands of years, with organic plant butters and essential oils. No pesticides, no chemical processing, no deforestation. It melts into a soft, velvety balm that you can smooth onto your body leaving your skin deeply nourished and beautifully smooth.
Why ours are different
When we first set out to find a truly natural, organic and vegan candle we assumed it must already exist. What we discovered surprised us. Almost all candles described as “plant-based” are sadly far from natural. The wax used in almost all candles isn’t a ‘true’ wax at all – it is made using highly processed and often genetically modified seed oils that have been chemically altered using high heat, solvents, bleaches and synthetic additives that remain in the candle and are released when burned.
