Lavender Essential Oil:
We are very proud to hydro-distil our own essential oil of organic A.O.C Grade 1 lavender, grown at Chateau de la Gabelle in Provence. Using cutting-edge green technology, we distil our lavender for only 30 minutes which ensures that the fresh natural scent and beneficial properties present in the lavender are fully retained. Its anti-inflammatory properties soothe and calm dry and itchy skin by helping to reduce inflammation and redness, and to balance and repair the skin’s moisture barrier. It is a potent source of antioxidants which can help to protect against wrinkles, fine lines, and dark age spots.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil:
This has been used for centuries to relieve everyday skin conditions and to moisturise. It is high in oleic acid which stimulates cell repair and regeneration and has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-oxidant properties.
Hydrates and protects skin to prevent moisture loss. It also contains a multitude of polyphenols which protect against the rigours of the day such as UV, pollution, dirt and sunscreen. Effective in aiding common skin conditions such as eczema, rosacea and psoriasis.
Virgin Coconut Oil:
Rich in essential fatty acids which are great for moisturising the skin and for increasing skin elasticity. This seemingly magical oil contains many antioxidants, especially vitamin E, which is very beneficial for your skin. Coconut oil is high in lauric acid which has antimicrobial properties to help neutralise harmful microbes and maintain a healthy skin microbiome. It also provides a wonderfully creamy lather in our soap bars.
